The woman was left baffled after the horse swung her ponytail around as she tried to get a photograph with the King’s Guard.
Tourist who stands too near to King’s Guard gets pony tail eaten by horse
A female tourist had the fright of her life after a King’s Guard horse took a bite of her ponytail. In a video shared on TikTok, the woman is seen closely standing by a black horse, which has a guard sitting on top, looking decidedly menacing. However, things quickly took a dark turn as she tried to snap a photograph of the guard and his horse.
The horse suddenly opened his mouth and took a massive bite at the woman’s hair leaving her in shock. The horse yanked her ponytail and swung her around. A warning board hanging on the wall says “Beware. Horse may kick or bite. Thank you.” This is not an isolated incident. Recently, another tourist got quite the telling-off after not listening to orders from a King’s Guard. In a video of the incident, which was posted to TikTok, the woman can be seen getting close to the guard’s horse.
As the young woman poses for a picture next to the iconic British setting, she reaches out to grab the horse’s reins. The King’s Guard can be seen pulling the reins away from her as he shouts: “Get off the reins!” Smiling and momentarily stepping back, the tourist then goes back to assume her position and takes hold of the reins again. Repeating his initial order, the King’s Guard reaffirms: “Get off!”
